Roller Coaster HOTA Outdoor Stage
Catch this unique music theatre play, which is fierce and explosive! From August 3 to 5, the HOTA Outdoor Stage will host Roller Coaster, a new production based on true stories with an action-packed skating spectacular, humour, drama, and a roaring live soundtrack. This spectacular concert will have you on the edge of your seat applauding!
BLEACH* at Broadbeach Cultural Precinct
From August 10 to 12, come to the Broadbeach Hub for an incredible celebration. There will be burlesque, theatre, stand-up comedy, drag, spoken word, and creative expression on display. There will be food and beverages available on the premises. Furthermore, the venue welcomes dogs.

Extra Curricular
Former teachers turned cabaret pair Libby Trainor Parker and Matthew Trainor, along with the Staff Band, will teach you everything from staff meetings and parent-teacher interviews to yard tasks. Extra Curricular show will take place from August 10 to 12. Please remember that this is an event for people aged 15 and up.
River Songs
Set up a picnic blanket on the Nerang River’s banks for a unique concert series that takes advantage of the Gold Coast’s natural beauty. On August 10, River Songs present Yirinda. Yirinda, made up of Butchella songman Fred Leone and contrabassist and producer Samuel Pankhurst, combines ancient Aboriginal language with kaleidoscopic harmonies.
The daring musical coupling of Nozomi Omote and Thomas Green as Shugorei takes the stage on August 11. The outcome is a stunning sonic collision on stage, combining Nozomi’s Japanese background and classical training with Thomas’ electric works.
Claire Edwardes will serenade you into the sunset on August 12. Her program is inspired by the natural world around us, with musical reflections on the nature of water, ancient fertility rites, and falling embers inspired by the most recent wildfire season on the east coast.
BLEACH* at Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens
From August 11 to 13, the Gold Coast’s green oasis will host a one-of-a-kind BLEACH* event. The Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens will be filled with melody and rhythm as Australia’s best singers, musicians, and composers are honoured. Food and beverages are available for purchase on-site. Also, because sitting is limited, bring a beach chair or blanket.
Edge Of The Lens
The Australian premiere, hosted and co-curated by acclaimed concert pianist Tamara-Anna Cislowska and visionary artist Tarita Botsman, brings together some of the country’s most daring and inventive female composers and songwriters at the Edge Of The Lens on August 11.
Joni Mitchell’s ‘Blue’ 50th Anniversary
On August 13, roll out the picnic blanket and let ARIA-award-winning songbird Katie Noonan serenade you into the sunset with melodies from Joni Mitchell’s seminal album, Blue. Catch this one-of-a-kind concert staged against a backdrop of gum trees, accompanied by a five-piece band.
