Welcome spring with the SPRINGTIME celebration on Surfers Paradise’s beaches and streets. With over 30 acts, the annual three-day FREE festival returns. Check out electronic duo Bag Raiders (DJ Set), New Zealand alt-pop singer BENEE, and indie-pop superstar Matt Corby, as well as local acts making their SPRINGTIME debuts, including BOO SEEKA, Babe Rainbow, Eliza & The Delusionals, grentperez, Sycco, and more.
Aside from music, the event will feature an arts programme. Prepare to conquer the Quest of Chaos. It is the brainchild of Shock Therapy Arts, the creators of the paint-splattered hit ‘The Cleaners,’ which debuted at SPRINGTIME 2022. Quest of Chaos draws inspiration from Japanese game shows, classic video games, and cartoon programs to guide players through various obstacle course tasks.
In this unique and enjoyable interactive game, players will test their physical and mental skills to overcome King Chaos and his gang of interdimensional troublemakers.
Main Beach Street Festival
September 9
The Main Beach Street Festival will return to the Gold Coast in September! This event, presented by Division 10 Cr Darren Taylor, will be a unique opportunity to unite the community, businesses, and residents in a fantastic Main Beach celebration. With live music, market booths, children’s entertainment, longer trading hours, and local restaurant deals, this is a community festival you should attend!
Tedder Avenue (between Hughes Avenue and Cronin Avenue) and Main Beach are part of the event area. A road closure is in effect along this road for setup and the safety of attendees. The Main Beach Street Festival begins at 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Crafted Beer Festival
September 9 – 10
One of the Gold Coast’s most popular craft beer events is the Crafted Beer & Cider Festival, which takes place over two fun-filled days in Kurrawa Park in Broadbeach. The event in 2023 will last two incredible days!
Be the first to experience Crafted’s unique beers. This year, the Crafted Beer & Cider Festival will offer over 400 individual brews from over 50 of Australia’s most exceptional brewers, including fresh-off-the-canning-line and limited-release products. Live music, entertainment, food trucks, and other activities will be available throughout the weekend.
